Most people have scars on their bodies. However, living with the scar makes more of a problem to them. Not only those who have scars, but also families and friends affected. For some people the scar is considered to be an art and even caused deliberately.
Often times people like this character is described as facial scarring, which highlights the fact that our society does not just want the scars as desirable, but also perpetuate the myth that those wounds tend to be less than pleasant for others. If we feel that people react differently to us because we have a scar, it can cause embarrassment and lack confidence. Some people also end up feeling angry and isolated due to a scar. If you or someone you know is having problems with scar tissue so do not despair.
Trying to scar therapy available also did not increase the hope, in fact there is no treatment that will remove all scars. This may take many years to accept the scars but it will help you accept your situation if you try to think positive. Talking with someone who has a scar, your doctor or arrange some counseling sessions. This can help you to accept the scars and does not mean that you will be referred to a psychiatrist. Remember that it can be very normal to feel sad about the scar.
